Mark Stojak,

Mark Stojak has extensive experience in working with at-risk youth. In his roles as a counselor, prevention specialist, mentoring program director and social worker, he has seen what it will take to prevent traumatic childhood experiences. Also, after working for over seven years with foster youth, Mr. Stojak will be able to provide real-world examples to help assist and inform the stakeholder process.

Mr. Stojak has been trained in focus group facilitation; and through his professional endeavors, has routine experience in mediating formal communication between a wide-range of demographics. Having earned a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Mr. Stojak has been extensively trained in the methods of stakeholder and community engagement. Mr. Stojak has worked with judges, attorneys, doctors, social workers, counselors, foster parents, government administrators and legislators to advocate for better outcomes for Washington State's youth.

Furthermore, as a Master's in Public Administration candidate, Mr. Stojak holds strong knowledge in government, policy-making and organizational systems theory. As a former board member of a credit union and a director of a piloted foster youth mentoring program, Mr. Stojak brings valuable experience in developing new programs and ideas through the strategic planning process. Mr. Stojak's practical knowledge in working with at-risk youth, as well as concentrating his academic work on the world of public policy, will make him an invaluable asset to the stakeholder driven process.
