Ellen Langley,
Communications Director
Ellen combines strategic planning skills with a multifaceted communications background, creating programs and projects that map to organizational goals and emphasize measurable outcomes. She is experienced in building forums for productive dialogue and information exchange—both face-to-face and online. Her hallmark is making complex information more accessible.
Ellen has 18 years of experience working with public, private, and non-profit organizations, helping them communicate effectively with their target audiences and with the media. Her career as a communicator and project leader is built on experiences in government and private sector management, corporate communications, journalism, and integrated PR and marketing. In 2004 she channeled her expertise and energy into launching her own successful firm: Langley Communications. Her business provided project management, creative strategy and copywriting services to clients in healthcare, government, and professional services.
In 2010, Ellen went to work for one her favorite clients: FLT Consulting. Today she’s helping the company grow and reach new markets, while bringing her expertise to FLT client projects demanding public affairs expertise, publicity, outreach, editorial management, and information design.
Ellen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University-Ohio. She is a long-standing member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), and an IABC International Gold Quill Award winner.
