Meagan Eliot, Senior Associate

Meagan has been developing and leading diversity programs, conducting government research and analysis, and working to shape public policy since 1998. Her background includes local government fiscal policy, social and human services, criminal justice systems, and domestic violence prevention.
Meagan runs FLT’s California office, leads in-depth industry research, and oversees project management for the organization.
In addition to her policy and advocacy roles, Meagan has co-authored two reports analyzing social policy: The 2005 State of the Cities Report: Assessing the Health of Washington’s Cities and Towns (2005), and Public Revenues, Expenditures, and Washington Citizens’ Tax Backlash (2002).
Outside of the office, Meagan likes to draw, write, garden, hike and ride her bike by the beach. She is currently working to develop a youth arts foundation. She lives in Los Angeles, CA.
